Maslow's hierarchy of
human needs
Human needs can be ordered in a hierarchy from lower to higher, as
follows: physiological, safety, belongingness,
esteem and self-actualization. To activate a higher level of needs it is
necessary that the lower needs have been reasonably satisfied ...
Maslow’s pyramid imply in its chronology that needs are satisfied in
the right succession, and that it happens more or less undisturbed. The line of
thoughts is growth oriented and does not pay attention to the constant and
confusing impulses, by which a modern is surrounded ...
After years of studying I have come to the
conclusion that the meaning
of life is included in the circle shown to the right. Some will accuse me of
being materialistic, but they don't understand the essence. No one is able to
live in an empty space and without fulfilment of needs like food and safety, and
at the same time look upon the world objectively.
In the poor part of the world millions of people
live beyond the poverty line in big cities. Very often it's a vicious circle
because they live in the streets breathing the polluted air and catching all

The
interlacing branches of the figure
The figure has to legs or branches, that entangles in a
wattle. One leg
is the material part of the culture, and the other leg is the mental part. The
interference from deus ex machine, which is postulated, may be a consequence of,
that man from the very beginning was a rather vulnerable human being. You could
speak of a divine experiment, where is has been necessary for the survival of
this peculiar creature, homo sapiens, to build temples to let individuals
worship something supernatural. As a consequence man build houses or huts around
the temples and gain stability by sharing a house and also creates a fundament
of growth.
...
The existence of God as an independent being, which is not a human innate
vigour, remains a postulate from me. It may be difficult, if not impossible, to
understand or accept the figure without at the same time to accept the existence
of a divine creature, or what you choose to call it. This creature constitute
the second leg or branch in the figure, while the first human beings (homo
sapiens) constitute the first leg or branch...

The line
of thought in the figure
The
line of thought in the figure is that one level has to
be finished, before a new begins. In the material world you must eat your fill,
before you are able to think long-range. It is boring to weed to make utility
plants grow. It’ easier to go fishing or hunting, when you are hungry. We
assume that man knows how to build a fire. A more long-range understanding is
achieved, when you learn that it pays to cultivate the earth and stay at the
same place for years. There’s more room for fellowship and community.
Individuals are not left to coincidence, including incidentally passion and
feelings. The possibility of organization increases in that way...
