Evolution has shown that humans come from the animal kingdom. From the very beginning they were as well guided by a divine creature. God helped human beings to survive and to develop to the stage, where they are now.

How dare I say so? If you read the articles below you will understand what I have experienced, and why I believe in the course of events, mentioned above.

My new way of thinking was caused by some physical and pushing experiences in 1979 that I can only explain as divine. For many years my writing was hidden in drawers, but in 2002 I decided to resume work and to publish on the Internet.Figure_copy(1).gif (9726 byte)

The pivotal point of the articles is a figure, showing cultural development. The figure was created in 1980.

The line of thought is presented in articles, where I involve scientists of today and earlier. One of the articles naturally describes the events in 1979.

The writing in 2002 has developed by gemmation, where the priority has been relevance and current interest. The latest and actual grouping in four parts is meant to form a general view of the collection. The articles can easily be read separately.

In the first part the subjects are Early Christianity and cultural development, where Elaine Pagels and Edgar H. Schein are the important scientists.

In the second part Maslow’s hierarchy of human needs is involved, because it has been a source of inspiration, while I was creating the figure in 1980. What is the line of thought in the figure? As an example of the connection (overlapping branches in the figure) between material and metal activity the time of the sagas is brought to light. How was daily life on Iceland, when the sagas were an oral tradition, before they were written down?

In the third part specific topics in the figure are discussed, concerning different stages in cultural development. One is about attitude to life, discussions in the secularised part of the world. Another topic is science, regarded as a cultural phenomenon, a solution of how to objectify knowledge.

In the fourth part I write about my own background, including what I have experienced as a divine interference. The other articles in this part have got a constructive approach to the existential possibilities of today.
